The sacred nature of a Church wedding demands that the couple have an understanding and acceptance of the spiritual aspects of their mutual commitment. Primary responsibility for helping the couple to such understanding belongs to the officiating priest.

The non-denominational ceremony begins with couples exchanging Hawaiian lei symbolizing an unbroken circle of love. The traditional blowing of a conch shell is followed by a gentle ukulele serenade.
