“A lovely couple that I worked with in June had such a great mindset to "go with the flow" on their wedding day. So much so that I had no idea until after the ceremony that the groom's ring had been mistakenly locked up in a van with the bridesmaids' purses. When the maid of honor realized that she didn't have his ring to hand to the bride, she simply took off her own engagement ring (that she had received the night before!) and handed it to the bride, who didn't bat an eye, and pushed it as far onto the groom's finger as possible, and smiled brightly. The groom went right along with it, and no one guessed about the mix-up - not even me! We all had a great laugh about it at the reception What smooth operators!
