I perform wedding ceremonies (religious, non-denominational, or civil/non-religious, including LGBTQIA ceremonies), vow renewals, elopements, baby blessings and even funerals. If you have your own ideas about a personalized ceremony or simply don't want to get married at the courthouse, please contact me. Bilingual ceremonies also available.
“Taya was awesome. We are a very young couple and we needed an elopement because we were only given 60 days by the city of Philadelphia to get our marriage signed. She accommodated us perfectly and was such a great price. She helped with the whole process all the way down to driving it to City Hall and putting it in the dropbox. She is one-of-a-kind. She has a great personality and is very down to earth. I give her 10 out of 10.”

“My first wedding today was for a co-worker of mine. She & her fiance are planning "the big wedding" for later in the summer, & I will also officiate there. But for personal reasons, they needed to be OFFICIALLY married as soon as possible. The spot they chose was waterfront in Historic Old New Castle, & the view was beautiful! It was certainly blustery & a little chilly, but not as bad as it could have been. So with both sets of parents as witnesses, I performed a basic, civil ceremony for the couple. There were smiles all around & lots of laughter when a flock of seagulls overhead "christened" the groom. The second wedding took place just an hour later, at the home of a sweet young couple. They went all-out for decorating - including an "altar" with votive candles, the archway draped with tulle, a spotlight for the bride & groom, & of course lots of rose petals. The guests included about 20 close friends & family members. I don't think there was one second that the young groom didn't have a smile from ear to ear. They chose one of my standard ceremonies, but customized it ever so slightly with their own vows: "In you I’ve found someone not only to share my love with, but also to share my life with. I am at my best with you, because you accept the worst in me. Our commonalities brought us together, but our differences brought us even closer. I will not ask you to change, for that would mean changing the love of my life. With this ring, I ask you to be my wife/husband...The person I share every exciting adventure with. The person I begin and end every journey with.".”
